For non vat registered businesses or personal users who want ownership of the vehicle. Rentals do not attract Value Added Tax (VAT). A modified form of hire purchase except that monthly payments are usually lower because there is a pre-determined balloon payment to be paid at the end of the contract. Ownership is transferred from the leasing company once the final payment is paid.
